We are Safer London, the leading London charity working to prevent and address gang violence, vulnerability and exploitation among young people. We were born in 2005, set up with a grant from the Metropolitan Police Authority to support young people at risk of crime.
At Safer London we believe every young person should be able to live free from exposure to gangs, exploitation and crime and we put this into action by reaching out to London’s most vulnerable and exploited young people to prevent them from slipping through the net.
We are looking for a dedicated experienced Service Manager to support a team of practitioners at Safer London. The team is likely to be made up of professionals with various background – including youth workers, social workers and those with health and teaching experience. You must have a strong understanding of both Children and Adults Safeguarding and an understanding of the issues faced by Young Londoners.
